Day Two of the Freedom Ride 250—and I’m already starting to question some of my life choices.
It’s cold. Everything is wet and muddy. I’ve been riding around deadfalls blocking the trail, and progress has been a whole lot slower than I expected.
Yesterday, starting in Washington, D.C., was miserable but the adventure felt exciting. Today, reality is setting in.
I’ve got a long way to go, and I’m already second-guessing whether riding across the country was such a great idea.
But for now, there’s only one thing to do.
